In order to prevent intellectual property usage risks and protect our company's intellectual property assets, we have developed an intellectual property strategy that combines our operational goals, reduces operational risks, and enhances our corporate competitiveness.

Our current scope of intellectual property management includes trademarks and trade secrets.

Trademark Protection Measures

Trademarks provide legal protection for a brand and are also intangible assets that contribute to the sustainable operation of a company. We ensure the legality and registrability of trademarks through pre-search evaluation, while avoiding infringement of other companies' intellectual property rights, as a basis for accumulating intangible assets.

Trade Secret Management

Trade secrets are vital to a company's core competitiveness. The purpose of our management is to prevent the leakage of trade secrets and to ensure the advantages in business operations and market competition, while avoiding infringement of other companies' trade secrets that could cause losses to our company. Shinfox Energy Group also has information security management regulations to safeguard personnel data privacy and customer rights.

Intellectual Property Risk and Response Measures

If we cannot obtain authorization for intellectual property rights or fail to prevent infringement of our intellectual property rights, and as a result, face related infringement litigation, the following risks may arise:

II	Reduced revenue opportunities due to weakened competitiveness against competitors who have benefited from infringement of our intellectual property rights.

Risk Reduction Measures: To minimize potential losses to shareholder resulting from intellectual property claims and litigation, Shinfox Energy Group has contractual provisions with procurement vendors that stipulate compensation and legal liability if their equipment infringes on intellectual property rights, such as patents or trademarks.

Shinfox Energy Group reports intellectual property-related matters to the board of directors annually, with the latest report submitted on November 10, 2022.
